FOUR TRUTHS: FOUR HAIKU   Dukka - Strife is Truth - Birth, aging, death, fleeting mind, Sensual acts are strife   Samudaya - Cause - Desires are root cause of strife - Those arise in mind   Nirodha - Strife's end - Hone non-passion, detachment To cease desiring   Marga - Noble Path Hone right view, intent, speech, acts, Striving, focus, thoughts     FOUR TRUTHS: FOUR QUATRAINS   Born, grow old, then fade away, Mind like clouds, drifts through the day. Pleasures fade, a weary chase, This is strife, in time and space.   Seeds of want, in mind they grow, Thirst and yearning, make us go. These desires, they start the pain, Strife's deep root, again and again.   Still the wanting, let it cease, Find the calm, find inner peace. Let go clinging, let it be, Strife can end, and you are free.   See things true, and aim to do, Speak and live, in ways that's new. Work with care, with heart so clear, Focus mind, and conquer fear. ...
