Hostel Prank Haiku and Couplets: All Fools’ Day

Image
Hostel Prank: All Fools’ Day   HAIKU   Late wake-ups with pranks Little stolen joys of life Washroom fights, bash-ups.  COUPLETS Sun peeks through, past sleepy eyes, A pillow fight, a giggle flies.   Toast from mess, a culprit flees, Small stolen jam, behind the trees.   The bathroom door, a banging sound, Toothpaste wars, all over the ground.   A clumsy trip, a scraped-up knee, But laughter rings, wild and free.

FUNNY LEADERS: LIMERICK ON ALL FOOLS DAY

Image
FUNNY LEADERS: LIMERICK ON ALL FOOLS DAY There once was a leder named Drew, Who decided to taste some green glue. His lips made a smack, Stuck tight, front and back, Now he whistles to talk, it is true! Uncouth show-off leader Green, Lacked insight, a comical scene. On guests he would leap, Chuckling so deep, Till his pants vanished, quite unforeseen. A leader, expensively draped, Hugged and chuckled, quite widely he gaped. With clothes so grand, And watch on his hand, The best joker award he then scraped.

A PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIMENT IN TEACHING SCIENCE: A SUMMARY REPORT

Image
A PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIMENT IN TEACHING SCIENCE A science lesson dealing with the concept ‘sound is produced by vibrations’ was transacted in the format of ‘theory into action’ using Gardner ’s theory of learning based on multiple intelligences. The learning theory consists of use of seven intelligences in teaching a lesson, namely, kinesthetic (hands–on), visual, verbal, musical, logical-mathematical, inter-personal and intra-personal intelligences. For hands-on experiences, making and use of straw saxophone was done. Simple visual illustrations, flow-chart, cinquain poetry, group worksheets and individual practice sheets were used for rest of the intelligence.   Human beings have a potential to learn or analyse an experience and codify it. Furthermore, human potential consists of multiple intelligences and according to Gardner , it is of the utmost importance that we recognize and nurture all of the varied intelligences, and all their combinations.   Russell further adds ...

No War! No Kings! Cries Rent American Skies: Limericks

Image
No War! No Kings! Cries Rent American Skies: Limericks A world gripped by fear and dismay, As Iran and bombs held the day. "No War!" voices cried, With nowhere to hide, For peace, they would fervently pray. The White House, a powerful stage, Where Trump held a king-like rampage. "No Kings!" they did shout, To tear autocrats out, And turn a new, democratic page. The workers, their wages all shrunk, At Trump's golden tower, they all bunked. "No kings!" they now cry, As jobs start to die, And fear's bitter pill they have drunk.

Jain Pious Swastika Sign: Four Life Choices and Righteous Path

Image
Jain Pious Swastika Sign: Four Life Choices and Righteous Path The Swastika spins, a holy sign, For a path to be truly divine. The beasts that roam, the plants that grow, An earthly pulse, delusive flow. And shadows deep, a painful sting, Where darkness dwells, and sorrows cling. Be not beast, with tooth and claw, But rise above, beyond the flaw. Be not devil, dark and cold, Let kindness bloom, a story told. Be human first, with open eyes, Then seek the stars, and paradise Then here below, the human ground, Where choices bloom, and life is found. Above, the pious, celestial light, A blissful grace, serene and white. The turning lines, a sacred sign, Four corners bright, they intertwine. Knowledge vast, a boundless sea, Perception clear, for all to see. Joy unending, a happy heart, Energy flows, a brand new start. Four pillars strong, a faith so deep, Monks and nuns, their vows to keep, Laymen too, and women kind, A community, for all to find.

'NO KINGS' LIMERICKS

Image
NO KINGS  LIMERICKS  A leader named Trump, quite uncouth, Tried to rule from a high, kingly booth. But the people arose, Said, "No kings!" it goes, "Our power, not yours, is the truth!" A land where the free birds take wing, Felt shadows of one like a king. No kings, said the crowd, Voices lifted aloud, For liberty's song they would sing. A leader, with power unbound, Tried to push common sense to the ground. But the people arose, Said, "That's how freedom goes!" Our strength in the people is found. No walls should divide, or detain, Nor wars spark and endlessly stain. So let voices unite, For justice and right, And build a world peaceful again.

Message of Lord Mahavira Lion Icon: Vanquish Vaggeries of mind and senses

Image
Message of Lord Mahavira Lion Icon: Vanquish Vaggeries of mind and senses Jina, like a lion stand, With courage in your hand. Mahavir's strength, a guiding light, To conquer darkness, make things right.   The mind, a wild and restless beast, The senses crave, a never-ending feast. But you, like lion, strong and bold, Take command, let peace unfold.   Ahimsa, truth, your guiding stars, Beyond all worldly bars. The lion at his feet does show, The path to inner strength to know.   No wars to fight, no battles won, But inner demons, one by one. Like Mahavir, with fearless grace, Find peace within, in every place.   So hone your mind, let kindness bloom, Dispel all shadows, chase away the gloom. A lion's heart, so brave and free, To master self, eternally.

Tread Three-fold Path of Ahimsa, Truth, and Detachment for liberation: A Poem on Jainism

Image
Tread Three-fold Path of Ahimsa, Truth, and Detachment for liberation: A Poem on Jainism To find a peace the world cannot impart, Seek not to wound, let kindness be your guide, Ahimsa's gentle touch, a work of art, Where harm is shunned, and egos softly subside. Hold not too tight to things that fade and flee, Detach, release, let go of what you crave, For in that freedom, true serenity, A space to grow, a soul that you can save. Speak only truth, let honesty prevail, A beacon bright, dispelling shadows deep, A shield against the forces that assail, And promises that you forever keep. Through these three keys, a path begins to bloom, From gentle life to light beyond the tomb.

On Mahavir Jayanti Tread Pathways to Peace by Embracing Ahimsa, Truth, and Detachment

Image
On Mahavir Jayanti Tread Pathways to Peace by Embracing Ahimsa, Truth, and Detachment The Mahavir Jayanti festival, which honours the birth of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, is set to take place on March 31, 2026. The Jain faith is based on the Karmic theory concerning the transgressions of the human soul. It is believed that thoughts or intentions, along with actions or deeds, are the two primary components of Jain karmic theory. Jains hold that malevolent intentions or bad feelings and thought lead to wrongful actions and their karmic consequences. Even gossiping about others is considered a bad deed with dire consequences. According to Lord Mahavira, any act of violence committed through the body, mind, or speech is regarded as a negative deed, which sullies the soul, regardless of whether it is done deliberately or accidentally. Jain Karmic Couplets Unworthy acts, a binding chain, Transgression's echo, endless pain. Thought and deed, if dark and deep, Obscure...

Reel Politics Creates Real Harm and Women Bear the Brunt

Image
Reel Politics Creates Real Harm and Women Bear the Brunt The screen flares bright, a fiery fight, Of politics, with all its might. But shadows fall, a hidden cost, On women caught, forever lost. Words like knives, a cruel display, On silver screen, they wound and slay. A woman's name, a cheapened word, Her dignity, unheard, unheard. Behind the lens, a different scene, Where women struggle, hurt unseen. The film's a weapon, sharp and cold, A story told, a story sold. The state commands, the cameras roll, But women's spirits lose control. They're pawns in games, of power's greed, A silent plight, a planted seed. The shadows lengthen, cold and deep, While political dreams, they softly sleep. And women suffer, day by day, The silent cost, they have to pay.

Women Further Objectfied in the Shadow of Political Cinema: Limerick

Image
Women Further Objectfied in the Shadow of Political Cinema: Limerick A film, once a story so grand, Became a political hand. With women on show, For votes, don't you know, While morals sank deep in the sand. A film, when aligned to a power, Shaped minds in each passing hour. With women misused, Morality bruised, Then truth wilts and turns ever sour.

Conditioning of kids by schools and markets: Biggest curse of new age

Image
POEM  Little seeds, we start so small, Planted in a family's wall. Taught to speak, to walk, to play, Growing in a certain way. School bells ring, and lessons start, Shaping minds and filling hearts. Rules and shopped rhymes much wrong, Singing the same familiar song. Market stalls and shining stores, Wanting this and wanting more. Things to buy, a style to chase, Finding worth in this fast-paced place. Families, schools, and things we see, Molding who we're meant to be. Each a conditioning  hand, Shaping lives across the land. Thoughts buzz like bees around a hive, Creating worries, make-believe to thrive. "Me, mine, I want," a noisy plea, But seeds of conflict, we can plainly see. True seeing dawns when bees grow still, The mind reflects, against its own will. It sees the walls it built so high, The fleeting thoughts that quickly die. The buzzing fades, a gentle hush, No memory's grip, no hurried rush. In quiet space, a knowing blooms, Beyond the self, escaping ...

Death: A Passage, Not an End

Image
Death: A Passage, Not an End D eath's not life's opposite, but just a phase, A turning point in nature's endless ways. For death's not far, a stranger at the door, It's not the end, but merely something more, In life shadows lengthen, day begins to wane, The journey ends, the body starts to rest, Life slip away, beyond all earthly pain, Returning whence we came, a silent guest. But fear takes root in soil of the untrue, We cling to form, to names, and fleeting roles, And think that these define our 'I' and 'you', Ignoring spirit's timeless, flowing wholes. So fear death not, this change that comes to all, Death is but life, answering nature's call. So cherish every moment, hold it dear, This sacred interval, while we are here.

J Krishnamurti Quotes on Fear and Inspired Quintains

Image
J Krishnamurti Quotes on Fear Truth lies in directly observing fear without the "observer" - the thinker Fear is one of the greatest problems in life. A mind that is caught in fear lives in confusion and conflict, and therefore must be violent, distorted and aggressive. We are all afraid of something; there is no fear in abstraction, it is always in relation to something. Escape, entertainment and courage are all forms of resistance to the actual fact of fear. Thought breeds fear as well as pleasure; they are both matters of time. As long as we are running away from fear, we do not look at it. The moment we stop and look at fear, it begins to dissolve. You are fear; you are not separate from it. The experiencer of fear is not an observer of it; it is fear itself, the very instrument of fear. The desire not to be disturbed makes us avoid ‘what is’ and fear what might be. Fear is the ignorance of ‘what is’, and our life is spent in a constant state of fear. There can be freed...

Elevate Beyond Following: Lessons from Ideal Life of Rama

Image
Elevate Beyond Following: Lessons from Ideal Life of Rama Do right, don't stray, In all you do and say. Be good, be fair, Set example everywhere. Tell truth, don't lie, Let honesty be your tie. Keep promises you make, For goodness holy sake. A little help, a gentle hand, A kind word in a weary land. Be grateful for the gifts so small, They lift us up, prevent a fall. See kindness in each simple deed, A tiny flower, a planted seed. Appreciate the love that's shared, A burden eased, a worry spared. Keep your cool, don't let it fly, Even when things make you sigh. मन-इन्द्रिय विजय करो: बोल अलाप

Image

WAR TRADE: LIMERICKS

Image
WAR TRADE: LIMERICKS Two lands, near or far, grew to hate, Their leaders, with words, sealed their fate. Guns started to boom, Filling factories' room, While the rich watched and chuckled, elate. Each side, feeling slighted and wronged, For stronger defenses now longed. The rich, they all smiled, As weapons were piled, While the drums of a war loudly thronged.

Atheists’ Theme Song

Image
Atheists’ Theme Song   We are atheists, we, with open eyes, Shape reasoned future 'neath unbiased skies. Architects of a rational tomorrow, Casting off shadows of outdated sorrow.   Where reason leads, a bright and guiding star, We follow closely, near and yet so far. Reasoned paths to secular horizons, Building tomorrow, shedding worn-out prisons.   The reasoned future, born of careful thought, Atheists united, lessons dearly bought. Crafting an informed, and thoughtful reign, Where truth prevails, and logic will sustain.   Grounded in reason, forging ever ahead, No dogma binding, no irrational dread. Thinking forward, a future unbound, Defining tomorrow, on solid ground.

Curiosity, a burning fire, To learn and grow, and climb much higher. Rational thought, our guiding star, Responsible for who we are. No fear of hell to make our choices clear, But empathy and love, forever near. It's not damnation that defines our deeds, But kindness planted, sowing worthy seeds. Our values rise from human heart, To play in life a conscious part. The future waits, a canvas bright, We paint its hues with reason's light.

Awakening Through Navratri: Embracing the Nature of Reality

Image
Awakening Through Navratri: Embracing the Nature of Reality Nine nights unfold, a cosmic dance begun, To shed the layers that conceal the soul. This Navratri's truth, a letting go so deep, That purest Self from slumber starts to leap. Unseen, a Power fills the air, Divine Mother, everywhere. Navratri's dance, in every part, From beating heart, to works of art. Feminine Divine, a quiet deep, Where reasons hide and secrets sleep. The cause of all, the seed unknown, Where life begins, and grows alone. Before the stars, before the light, She was the Source, endless and bright. No shape, no form, just pure and vast, The very first, that always lasts.

Martyrdom: A Poem

Image
Shaheed Diwas, also known as Martyrs' Day in India, is commemorated on March 23 to pay tribute to the ultimate sacrifice made by freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru. On this day back in 1931, they were executed by the British in Lahore jail, turning them into everlasting icons of bravery and revolutionary zeal for the youth. This day serves as a reminder of the steep price paid for freedom and rights, igniting the spirit of struggle and sacrifice in the younger generation Their Slogans: Inquilab Zindabad!  Long Live the Revolution! Down with imperialism and facism! Revolution is an inalienable right of mankind! Freedom is an imperishable birthright of all! Shahid Bhagat Singh had said, "They may kill me, but they cannot kill my ideas. They can crush my body, but they will not be able to crush my spirit." .
