No War! No Kings! Cries Rent American Skies: Limericks
A world gripped by fear and dismay,
As Iran and bombs held the day.
"No War!" voices cried,
With nowhere to hide,
For peace, they would fervently pray.
The White House, a powerful stage,
Where Trump held a king-like rampage.
"No Kings!" they did shout,
To tear autocrats out,
And turn a new, democratic page.
The workers, their wages all shrunk,
At Trump's golden tower, they all bunked.
"No kings!" they now cry,
As jobs start to die,
And fear's bitter pill they have drunk.
