'NO KINGS' LIMERICKS
NO KINGS LIMERICKS
A leader named Trump, quite uncouth,
Tried to rule from a high, kingly booth.
But the people arose,
Said, "No kings!" it goes,
"Our power, not yours, is the truth!"
A land where the free birds take wing,
Felt shadows of one like a king.
No kings, said the crowd,
Voices lifted aloud,
For liberty's song they would sing.
A leader, with power unbound,
Tried to push common sense to the ground.
But the people arose,
Said, "That's how freedom goes!"
Our strength in the people is found.
No walls should divide, or detain,
Nor wars spark and endlessly stain.
So let voices unite,
For justice and right,
And build a world peaceful again.
