Ode to Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram on His Birth Anniversary

Image
Ode to Deenbandhu  Sir Chhotu Ram A son of soil, where fields did yearn, Sir Chhotu Ram, name for all to learn. For farmers' plight, his heart did bleed, A leader strong, a plant of freedom's seed. He saw the debt, the endless chain, And fought for laws to ease the pain. For unity, he stretched his hand, To Hindu, Muslim, tilling the same land. A vision bright, a dam's strong wall, For waters fair, to nourish all. Education's light, for every child, Equality's song, both meek and wild. Chhotu Ram, your name, a guiding star, For those who toil, both near and far. A friend of poor, your legacy lives, In hearts that hope, the grace it gives.

Elite Bully School: Limericks

Image
Elite Bully School: Limericks A child, unseen, in school hall, Felt shadows lengthen and fall. The walls, so grand, Hid a cruel hand, Where voices could not break through the wall. *** Within walls tall and grand, A small shadow did stand. Elite eyes would sting, A fragile, clipped wing, In silence, across the cold land.

देह-अभिमान त्याग

Image

AN ODE TO SRI GURU TEG BAHADUR SAHIB ON HIS SHAHEEDI DIWAS

Image
AN ODE TO SRI GURU TEG BAHADUR SAHIB ON HIS SHAHEEDI DIWAS Brave Guru Tegh Bahadur, bright, A shining star in darkest night. For truth and faith, he stood so tall, Protecting all, answering freedom's call. A gentle heart, a peaceful soul, He made the broken spirit whole. In Anandpur, a city grew, Where love and kindness brightly flew. His hymns, like songs, forever play, Chasing falsehood far away. He sang sweet songs, of God above, And showed us how to share our love. He taught: be fair, love and never hate. No matter what we wear or celebrate. His sacrifice, a debt we can't repay, Shaheedi Divas, marks this solemn day. He gave his life, a sacrifice, To keep the flame of freedom nice. We honor him, with grateful tears, Guru Tegh Bahadur, through all the years.

जीवन कल्प

Image

A short note and a poem on AI machine

Image
Short Note Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the capability of a digital machine to replicate the functions of the human brain in analyzing, making decisions, and executing actions. This digital device can be equipped with a decision-making tree chip to evaluate input data, enabling it to make unbiased decisions. However, the user of an AI device must possess a higher level of intelligence, along with advanced thinking skills. AI serves merely as a tool for ethical, effective, and efficient action, which can only be achieved through the enhancement of the user's own higher-order thing skills and cognitive functions. It's really important to use AI in a way that's ethical and to think critically about it. A poem on AI machine A seed of thought, in circuits deep, A mimic brain, where secrets sleep. The machine wakes, begins to see, And learns to act, like you and me. With chips that form a judging tree, A call it makes, for all to see. A branching path, a coded guide, Wh...

Couplets on icons and symbols of the Bhagavad Gita and their meaning

Image
Couplets on icons and symbols of the Bhagavad Gita and their meaning The chariot, our form, where life takes hold, The intellect guides, wise and bold. Horses of senses, a restless team, Emotions pull, a fleeting dream. Wheels of action, spinning fast and free, Each deed brings back what's meant to be. The field of life, a battleground, Where dilemmas and despairs are found. Conch shell echoes, a primal sound, Truth's vibrations, forever profound. Ashvattha's roots, held high for the light, The cosmos unfolds, as divine bright. Lotus blooms, untouched by muddy stain, Detachment whispers, ease the pain. Sudarshan Chakra, wisdom's shining might, Vanqishing evils, bringing forth the light. The Chakra spins, a fiery grace, Ignorance gone, leaving its place. The field of life, a battleground, Where truth and dreams are tightly bound. The conch shell calls, a holy sound, As wisdom's light does then abound.

Krishnamurti on Truth: Some Quotes and a Decastich Poem

Image
Krishnamurti on Truth: Some Quotes and a Decastich Poem The noted thinker, philosopher and spiritualist, Jiddu Krishnamurti, referred to as "the seer who walks alone" since he had emphasized a radical self-discovery approach leading to self-realization by rejecting all external spiritual authority, including gurus, organized religions, texts and the need for followers. He maintained that truth is a "pathless land" that must be discovered through one's own inquiry and awareness from moment to moment.  There is no path to truth. Truth is not to be understood through any system or any path. Truth comes silently, without your knowing. What you know is not truth, only an idea or symbol. The shadow is not the real. When you know something, it ceases to be truth because it is past; it is entirely arrested. Truth is not the opposite of a lie. That which has an opposite is not truth. Truth is not something to be remembered, stored up, recorded, and then brought out. Wh...

Anger, ego, wants connect to bring strife: The Bhagavad Gita Inspired Poem

Image
A nger, ego, wants connect to bring strife: The Bhagavad Gita Inspired Poem Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.63 क्रोधाद्भवति सम्मोहः सम्मोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः।  स्मृतिभ्रंशाद् बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति। Meaning: We need to understand that from anger arises delusion caused by cravings and ego. Then delusion leads to the loss of memory, then destruction of intelligence occurs, and thereafter self-ruin is caused Inspired Poem Anger grips a mind, wild and free, Lacking control, it can't flee. Wisdom is lost, Whatever the cost, A slave to bad temper we see! Our ego, a selfish, small thing, Wants all of the praise life can bring. Anger flares bright, Obscuring the light, Untamed mind; its joy is a sting. Make "me first" the mantra, you know. A strong want, a puffed-up ego, If anger takes hold, Wisdom's story's untold, Practice calmness, let balanced mind grow. The mind, if suppressed, gets quite sore, And bounces right back for some more. So just let things be, With equanimi...

The Gita's Swadeshi’s call for self-reliance in making your own inner world bright.

Image
The Gita's Swadeshi’s call for self-reliance  in making your own inner world bright. Your own path, though flawed, brings inner light, Do what you can, with heart and hand so true, Swadeshi’s call, to make your own world bright. Another's task, though done with perfect might, Leaves your own spirit feeling incomplete too, Your own path, though flawed, brings inner light. No borrowed gleam can make your future white, Find strength within, in all that you pursue, Your own path, though flawed, brings inner light. So turn within, and find your inner sight, Self-reliance grows, when duty sees you through, Your own path, though flawed, brings inner light,

The Gita Inspired Swadhama Tercets

Image
The Gita Inspired Swadhama Tercets Do your own duty, the Gita says, A path to grow, beyond the earthly tie. Forget the prize, in all your striving days. Another's task may seem a brighter maze, But yours, though small, can lift you to the sky. Do your own duty, the Gita says. With even mind, through sunlight and through haze, Act selflessly, let ego gently lie. Do your own duty, the Gita says. By Swadharma, through life's winding grays, A higher self, you'll nurture and descry. Do your own duty, the Gita says,

Vinoba Bhave's Geetai: A snippet view and an inspired poem

Image
Vinoba Bhave's Geetai: A snippet view and an inspired poem      Geetai (Mother Gita) is Vinoba Bhave's (1932) Marathi translation of the Bhagavad Gita, which he created for his mother. His work aimed to make the profound teachings of the Gita accessible to a wider Marathi-speaking audience. He viewed the Gita as a scripture as an apt guide to live a sane and wise life for the common person.       He had once said that the Gita was his life-breath and sought to make its teachings accessible to everyone, He also gave occasional talks on on the Gita and translated the scripture into Marathi and titled it 'Geetai'. He had urged that for uniting the individual with the world through faith and experimentation, not just reason or intellect.  Gita as Life Guide: Inspired Decastich  Poem The Gita speaks, a simple way, To live a life, from day to day. Burn ego's fire, let passions cease, Find wisdom then, and lasting peace. Do what you must, Swa...

Need to free education from political powers' clutches: A Poem

Image
Need to free education from political powers' clutches: A Poem The seed of learning, chained and small, By walls of power, stands for all. Let's break these chains, with hearts so bright, And fill the classroom with true light. Unlearn the wrongs, the twisted tales, Where some succeed, and others fail. Feel with our hearts, and see with care, How power's threads, unfair, ensnare. Let's plant new seeds, of hope and grace, For every child, a worthy place. So learning blooms, a garden free, For you and me, for all to see. Rise up, dear friends, with voices strong, Right every wrong, where wrongs belong.

Wither politics captive education!

Image
Wither politics captive education! A classroom, once a garden bright, Now fenced, with shadows blocking light. Politics, a twisting vine, Has choked the growth, a cruel design. The words we learn, a curated script, Where truth is pruned, and voices clipped. The soil, uneven, some thrive with ease, While others struggle, catching no breeze. But see the seed, a tiny spark, Of justice burning in the dark. Unlearn the lies, the whispered fears, And water the earth with honest tears. Feel in your heart the burning shame, Of privilege bought, in inequality's name. Wake up your mind, dissect the code, Of power structures, unjustly bestowed. Now rise, disrupt the silent norm, Rewrite the rules, weather the storm. Mobilize your voice, a rallying call, For equal chances, freedom for all. Strategize, plan, dismantle, rebuild, A garden where every dream can be fulfilled. For education's heart, must beat anew, A future blooming, fair and true.
