Ode to Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram

A son of soil, where fields did yearn,

Sir Chhotu Ram, name for all to learn.

For farmers' plight, his heart did bleed,

A leader strong, a plant of freedom's seed.

He saw the debt, the endless chain,

And fought for laws to ease the pain.

For unity, he stretched his hand,

To Hindu, Muslim, tilling the same land.

A vision bright, a dam's strong wall,

For waters fair, to nourish all.

Education's light, for every child,

Equality's song, both meek and wild.

Chhotu Ram, your name, a guiding star,

For those who toil, both near and far.

A friend of poor, your legacy lives,

In hearts that hope, the grace it gives.
