The Weeping Motherland: Between Pride and Pain

The Weeping Motherland: Between Pride and Pain

Flags wave high, slogans ring loud,
"Bharat Mata Ki Jai!" a proud crowd.
But tears fall slow, a silent plea,
When hearts are bound, and spirits flee.

Bharat Mata enthroned, her gaze is far,
While shadows creep, and leave their scar.
The mothers march, with peace their art,
In Delhi's dust, they play their part.

But tear gas they meet, and blows descend,
On mothers frail, on children's end.
A crushing force, a bitter shame,
Humanity's worth, put to the flame.

Beneath  mothers' eyes, so held and weak,
This sorrowing land begins to creak.
The Motherland weeps, with hidden pain,
For honour lost, and freedom's stain.
