The Broken State Shield of Women Dignity
The Broken State Shield of Women Dignity:
Where Justice Sleeps, Darkness Grows
A right of humankind, it is made clear,
For women and for girls, a sacred trust.
But when the state, with actions dark and drear,
Tramples their worth, and turns their hope to dust,
It breaks the core, the faith they held so deep.
The shield meant to protect, now turns to harm,
A lonely wound, where shattered spirits weep,
And future light is lost within the storm.
This brutal wrong, a scar that will not fade,
Reshapes the soul, and steals their sense of worth,
A heavy price, for trust so cruelly played,
A lasting shadow cast upon the earth.
No peace can bloom where dignity is spurned,
And justice for the wounded is adjourned.
