Mothers of Bharat: Heed Their Voices
Mothers of Bharat: Heed Their Voices
A mother I am, named Mata,
My body knew pain, a brutal matter.
On a march so calm, a peaceful plea,
We walked as one, for all to see.
Bharat Mata, we are, mothers of this land,
Protecting our children, hand in hand.
My sons and daughters, their cries I heard,
Kicked and beaten, every cruel word.
Is this our fate, when we speak our mind?
For fairness, truth, for all mankind?
Bharat Mata, we only asked for right,
To be heard, to be seen, in the clear daylight.
