Democracy at Crossroads: Quintets

Democracy at Crossroads: Quintets

A broken system, a heavy hand,
Education fails, a troubled land.
Tests get leaked, a cruel decree,
Young lives lost, for all to see.
King wont's listen, nor understand

'Cockroach' youth surged, a hopeful sight,
Met doors slammed shut with all their might.
The King won't hear,
Just heavy fear,
As iron hand dimmed the light.

They crush the voice, the rising plea,
Instead of listening, they disagree.
A nation weeps, for dreams undone,
When futures fade, before they've begun.
Democracy killed by cruel decree
