Fundamental right is availed as free choice,
 rule of permission is subversion of the right: Limericks
 
A right is a thing, to be free,
Not asked for, by decree.
To beg for your say,
Takes liberty away,
And makes you a subject, you see.

When freedoms are held by a whim,
And politicians make them dim,
Permission's a guise,
A truth that belies,
Control, not the choice, is their aim.
