POEM ON MIND PURIFICATION TO GAIN MINDFULNESS
The mind, like soil, can get a bit messy,
With evils, fears, and thoughts that are pressy.
But just like soil, it has cleansing part,
Ready to heal, to make a new start.
Be mindful, watch what you let inside,
Good seeds of kindness, let them abide.
Pull out weeds of anger, lust and doubt,
Let peace and calm begin to sprout.
With gentle hands, and patience true,
Tend to your mind, for me and for you.
Each mindful breath, a cleansing rain,
Washing away the worry and pain.
So work on your thinking, with all of your might,
To chase out the shadows and bring in the light.
