Quantum reality: Nick Herbert's Quote and limericks
Nick Herbert (b. Sept 7, 1936) is an American physicist and author, who is best known for his book 'Quantum Reality'. His most famous quote on quantum reality goes as follows: “The quantum world is as objective as our own: different people taking the same viewpoint see the same thing, but the quantum world is not made of objects (different viewpoints do not add up). The quantum world is objective but objectless.”
Limericks on quantum reality
The quantum's a curious thing,
No objects to which it can cling.
Objective, it's true,
Though views don't add through,
Reality's song it will sing.
Herbert says it's strange, you see,
It's real, though no thing it can be.
No sums can explain,
Its joyful refrain,
Just is, real yet wonderfully free.
