Desires bind, sense objects gleam,
Let go, escape this waking dream.

Servility of mind, release its hold,
A story told, a truth unfolds.

Ego's grip, a greedy chase,
Disentangle now, find open space.

"Me" and "mine," illusions bright,
Release their spell, embrace the light.

Body, mind, senses, let them be,
Detached, you're free, eternally.

 The 11th edition of the UN proclaimed International Day of Yoga is going to be observed on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.  According to the UN the theme 'echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked.' Iyengar had once said, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”
