POETIC ACROSTIC ON 'HUMILITY'

 

An acrostic is language art for rhythmic recitation where specific letters, usually the first letter of each line, spell out as adjectives to the  topic word. However, a poetic acrostic consists of rhyming messages when read vertically but may not always be related to the subject of the poem.

Acrostics are good aid to cognitive and non-cognitive development by explore a topic or a themes.

H: Heart's open 'n always receptive|
U: Understanding that's empathetic
M: Mindfulness to flaws to be corrective
I: Ideals're shaped by being reflective
L: Learning's done from errors with flow
I: In quiet reflection we must grow
T: Truth's to be self-discovered, you know
Y: Yield to new knowledge and keep lying low

Yoga Day 2025 Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health

 The 11th edition of the UN proclaimed International Day of Yoga is going to be observed on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.  According to the UN the theme 'echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked.' "Yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind and fosters a heightened sense of awareness and responsibility in daily life. This mindfulness allows one to choose healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. In caring for ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth, reflecting the enduring Indian ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family," adds the UN.  Late Yoga guru B. K. S.
