 Do actions for their own sake,
Doing action is your sacred duty
Ask never fruits of your actions
Detach 'n endure for inner beauty
 ***
Dharma's call is for selfless duty
Shed your ego, be the deed's medium
Krishna's words are a timeless guide
Make 'do and let go' your life's idiom
 ***
Outer is illusion, find truth within,
Eternal is soul, where bliss reins.
Soul never kills, nor gets killed
Be duty-bound, waste not life in vain

Yoga Day 2025 Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health

 The 11th edition of the UN proclaimed International Day of Yoga is going to be observed on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.  According to the UN the theme 'echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked.' "Yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind and fosters a heightened sense of awareness and responsibility in daily life. This mindfulness allows one to choose healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. In caring for ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth, reflecting the enduring Indian ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family," adds the UN.  Late Yoga guru B. K. S. Iyengar had once said, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”
