Deepfakes: Outcomes of a mind shaped by myths and irrationality

Old tales were carved in mountain stone,
Of gods who sat on golden thrones.
We told of beasts and magic light,
To haunt the shadows of the night.

Then came the books of ink and quill,
To bend the mind and shape the will.
We loved the lie, the crafted play,
To hide the truth of common day.

But now the screen begins to glow,
With faces that we think we know.
A voice that speaks, a shifting eye,
A hollow ghost born from a lie.

The machine creates a perfect mask,
To finish every wicked task.
It steals the soul, it steals the name,
And bring deepfakes into life- game.

We lose the path of what is real,
And let the phantom shadows steal
The strength to think, the power to see,
Lost in a sea of circuitry.

The logic fades, the senses blur,
In webs of code that masquerade as her.
We swallow myths we built in haste,
And let our reason go to waste.
