Digital age blues: Couplets
Digital age blues: Couplets
The screen glows bright, a hollow, vacant stare,
My heart feels lost, no real world to share.
We buy and chase, a never-ending race,
Leaving behind a lonely, empty space.
Our minds are split, in endless, fractured views,
Searching for meaning in these digital blues.
We chase quick joys, a fleeting, hollow gleam,
And find ourselves caught in a restless dream.
We fight for likes, a shallow, empty prize,
While real connections slowly start to die.
The constant buzz, a strain upon the soul,
Losing ourselves, beyond our own control.
