 Understand the Role of Gurus in Jainism

A Jain guru serves as a spiritual teacher, known as a Panch Parmeshti, guiding seekers and disciples through rigorous ascetic practices and wisdom towards achieving pure right belief, right knowledge, and right conduct. The Panch Parmeshti in Jainism consists of five supreme spiritual beings that deserve the highest respect and worship, including Arihantas, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and Sadhus.

In Jainism, a Guru symbolizes ascetic leadership and is one of the three essential pillars, along with Deva and Dharma. They offer atonement and spiritual guidance to disciples, while laypersons and seekers turn to the Guru for scriptural truths, self-reflection, and the journey towards detachment, also known as Aparigraha.

In Jainism, the guru is honored through rituals like Guru-vandan or Guru-upashti, where respect and offerings are presented to the guru, who in return provides mantra recitations or blessings.

A Guru, wise and so serene,
As Panch Parmeshti, can be seen.
With strict ascetic ways,
And wisdom's bright rays,
He guides to pure belief, a blessed scene.

 An ink attack, which involves throwing ink at a rival, celebrity, politician, or public official, is typically intended to humiliate the target, attract media attention, and convey feelings of hate or disagreement. Such actions undermine democracy and hinder the potential for constructive and meaningful discussions. They substitute logical arguments with cheap publicity stunts. This type of attack goes beyond rational discourse and peaceful debate, creating panic as it may involve hazardous chemicals. However, when a government supporter targeted Abhijit Dipke of CJP at Jantar Mantar, he and his supporters managed to handle the situation calmly, preventing social unrest. A limerick  Young Dipke, a chap quite astute, Was ink-attacked, a messy pursuit. He stayed calm and meek, As the attacker woman did shriek, "Blue's my color!" he said, with sweet hoot.
