 Lifeless matter and life or consciousness
co-exist eternally: A poem 

The universe, a dance of light and thought,
Where energy and awareness intertwine.
From dense-packed matter, energy is wrought,
As physics hints at truths that now align.

In varied forms, this energy takes hold,
And matter speaks its energetic phrase.
If consciousness, a story to be told,
Began with all, in ancient cosmic haze.

Then thought and feeling, love and memory’s art,
The sense of ‘I,’ and ‘cosmos’ vast design,
Were present from the universe’s start,
As lifeless dust and life forever shine.

They co-exist, a timeless, unified,
Eternal stream, where all things are allied.
