Hope, a value shining bright,
A firm anchor, holding tight.
Not just wishing, faint and weak,
But a promise we can speak.

Confident and full of grace,
Joyful light upon our face.
Divine goodness it evokes,
Fulfilling promises in strokes.

Not uncertain, lost, or blind,
In God's nature, we shall find
Resurrection's mighty power,
Transforming us hour by hour.

For our souls, a steady hand,
Through trials, it helps us stand.
Equanimity it gives,
While in suffering, it lives.

Beyond what our eyes can see,
Rooted in Christ, eternally.
His life and death, a shining ray,
Hope lights our path along the way.
