Inner Christ, must rise o'er all: True message of Easter in a Poem
POEM
Christ is risen, the stone is gone,
A brand new day, a hopeful dawn.
Death's cold grip, no longer binds,
Life bursts forth, for all mankind.
Love's gentle hand, forgives the wrong,
Where hatred festered, joy is strong.
No empty show, no hollow sound,
But spirit deep, on holy ground.
Be just not follower, blind and lost,
But Christ-like souls, at any cost.
For rigid rules, and dogma's hold,
Have stories of conflict often told.
"Christ is risen," hear the call,
Our inner Christ, must rise o'er all.
Let deadly sins, now fade away,
And hope, and love, light up the day.
