Good Friday Quatrains


 Good Friday Quatrains 

Dark flaws we embrace,
Hide the Self's pure face.
Good Friday is here,
A fresh start, hold dear.

Rituals can blind,
Leave externals behind.
Lost spirit's deep call,
The truest sin of all.

Forgiveness takes flight,
Toward living what's right.
Serve with open hand,
In every life, expand.

Find peace in the still,
Love's endless refill.
Christ's Sabbath of rest,
Love puts us to the test.

A vigil's bright gleam,
Darkness fades like a dream.
Jesus, light so bright,
Saves souls bathed in right.

Change starts from within,
New strength will then begin.
A changed heart takes hold,
A world, anew, unfolds.
