People First: Message in Poem

Let's see the heart, not just the face,
Forget the label, race or place.
Let kindness bloom, a gentle seed,
And water it with every deed.

No room for hate, no wall to build,
Just open arms and spirits filled.
We're all the same, beneath the skin,
Let love and understanding win.

Like butterflies from chrysalis,
Let's change for good, with every kiss
Of sunshine on a brand new day,
And sweep the prejudice away.
