LIMERICKS ON VANITY
LIMERICKS ON VANITY
There once was person, vain so grand,
Whose worth was a castle of sand.
With masks they would play,
Hide truth every day,
A shadow self, built by demand.
~~***~~
A mind full of worldly
delight,
Brings shadows, and endless long night.
Little knowing's vain pride,
Where sorrows abide,
Turns sunshine to permanent blight
