Life lessons: Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji's Prakash Parb
Heart of love, a spirit bright,
Saw the world in sacred light.
Nature's breath, a holy sign,
Human hands, a trust divine.
Not to own, but gently keep,
The sleeping earth, the soaring steep.
Each creature small, each towering tree,
A single thread, for all to see.
Naulakha Bagh, a healing hand,
Herbs and flowers, across the land.
Mended bodies, eased the pain,
Love's sweet balm, in sun and rain.
A broken heart, a sacred trust,
More precious far, than dust to dust.
Kindness given, freely sown,
In every life, a spirit grown.
Service true, a helping hand,
To heal the sick, across the land.
Gurbani's truth, a guiding star,
From worldly wants, detached and far.
Less to sleep, and less to crave,
In God's embrace, our souls to save.
Less to speak, more to give,
In the Formless One, we truly live.
