Anger and Hate, the Worst Mental Evils: A Poem

Dark clouds arise,
Anger and hate,
A stinging blight.

Hearts filled with pain,
Peace disappears,
A troubled mind's plight.

Balance is lost,
Rocked by the storm,
Judgment goes blind.

Shadows appear,
Relationships break,
Calmness left behind.
***
Wants unmet now,
Pride bruised and sore,
Challenges loom high.

World closes tight,
Faults magnified,
Truth starts to die.
***
