Better seek the truth within, all outer is delusion: A Decastich

 No gilded temple, shrine, preacher's plea,
Can pierce the dark veil of vanity.
For truth resides not in the show,
Nor in the rituals, to and fro.

For consciousness, a starlit sea,
Reflects the self, eternally.
Within the soul, the answer waits,
A quiet whisper, in inner gates.

So cast aside the outward guise,
And seek the truth, with inner eyes.
