Swadharma in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita : Inspiration for Duty, Peace and Harmony - A Theme Poem

If a task is set for you,
Do it well, and see it through.
Your Dharma, duty set before,
Be righteous, ask not for more.

Do things that make the world more bright,
Bring peace and banish endless night.
Let inner peace be your true guide,
Harmonize to  walk, side by side.

Detach yourself from all the gain,
Or praise, or even hurtful pain.
Do duty as a sacred plea,
Harmony springs forth, you’ll see.

Your duty, a gift, a higher decree,
A calling to serve, for all eyes to see.
Each action a seed, in cosmic design,
Cause and effect's law, forever aligned.
