Calm equanimous mind causes bliss: Haiku
 
Rid sensual pleasures
Endure strife with equanimity
For a blissful life

Pleasures fade so fast,
Calm heart rides through stormy seas,
Joy blooms, peace remains.

Let desires fade,
Calm through storms, a peaceful life,
Joy blooms in the heart.

Sensual pleasures end,
Storms may rage, peace in the heart,
Bliss then fills the soul.
