Martyr Bhagat Singh's message on necessity of revolution to achieve and safeguard freedom

Revolutionary Bhagat Singh's (27 September 1907 – 23 March 1931) 118th birth anniversary was marked by rememebering his message to safeguard the right to live with freedom.

COUPLETS

For freedom's light, a revolution's need,
To plant fair seeds, and pull up every weed.

A just world blooms where freedom finds its place,
A sacred goal for all of human race.

With freedom's fire, face tyrant's might,
Embrace death's shadow for what's right.

Freedom's birthright, for every one to claim,
No chains to bind, no life subdued by shame.

Live for freedom, let that be your guide,
For freedom's dream, let the body subside.

Ideas endure, beyond the mortal frame,
A tyrant's kill can't quench the freedom's flame.

Be ready then, for freedom's call to die,
With courage high, beneath a hopeful sky.

Through trials faced, your spirit must remain,
To freedom's cause, an unwavering chain.

Religion, state, let these be separate ways,
For freedom's fight, in unity we raise.
