Practice meditation and self-reflection to fet mindful and soulful: Poem

Practice meditation and self-reflection to fet mindful and soulful: Poem
 ~Lalit Kishore

The mind, a canvas vast and deep,
Unmoored, to fleeting fancies leap.
With whispers soft of sense-world's call,
It builds desires, both great and small.

It weaves illusions, thin and frail,
A hypnotic spell, a whispered tale.
The material world, a siren's song,
Enchants the mind, where darkness throngs.

It overthinks, a churning flood,
Of doubts and fears, misunderstood.
In  restive mind, the soul  gets bound,
But it  yearns for  a solace sound.

Yet hope remains, a flickering spark,
Tame mind with meditation to break dark.
Mindfulness creates inner quiet space,
Soulfulness bestows the divine grace.
