OUR STRIFE IS DUE TO LAW OF KARMA UPHELD BY THE DIVINE: POEM

My sorrows are not God's own decree,

No holy soul has carved this bitter strain.

The author of my strife, I clearly see,

Is none but me, who sowed the seeds of pain.

From what I've done, or failed to do before,

Or choices made in this very present day,

My thoughts, my words, my deeds, I must explore,

They are the causes, leading me astray.

Through Karma's Law, these sufferings unfold,

A truth upheld by God, both just and deep.

So endure trials, be brave, serene, and bold,

While equanimity your mind keeps.

Change your ways, let equipoise be your guide,

Act with pure intent, and let all ego hide.
