Beware, spirituality is being commoditized by all sectors of society: Note and poem
Note
Indeed. the spiritual essence within us and our inner potentials need to be fostered. nurtured and developed so that we can be empowered as autonomous individuals. When we don’t walk the path of self-discovery, our soulfulness, which is our inner potential for personal growth, remains untapped. Market, sponsors and promoters create spiritual packages aimed at those seeking new inner potential of soulfulness. In a materialistic society, glamorous packages of normalized practices are designed with the promise of unlocking our inner potential for real success in both society and the workplace, not for self-development. The idea of inner potential is often highlighted and marketed in mind-body therapies and the ‘feel-good,’ ‘think positive,’ and 'well-being' sectors, all aimed at worldly gains. However, all of this is just marketing and management tricks from a materialistic world disguised as spirituality. Beware!
Commoditizing Spirituality, Beware: Poem
A silent spark within, a nascent flame,
A deeper wisdom, waiting to unfold.
Our truest self, beyond all earthly name,
A story in the soul, yet to be told.
But market whispers rise, a shiny sound,
Of 'soulful growth' in packages so bright.
For inner peace, a shortcut can be found,
Promising power, banishing all night.
With 'well-being' courses, sleek and bold,
And 'positive' thinking, bought and sold,
They claim to free the riches in your hold,
For tangible success, a future gold.
Yet spirit's core, no price tag can define,
It blossoms free, on pathways truly thine
