World Nature Conservation Day observed: Message in poem

 

World Nature Conservation Day  was observed on the 28th July 2025 with the theme “Restore Nature, Rebuild Our Future”. It is true that  a conserved nature is a foundation for a sustainable and healthy society. We need to acknowledge that the planet earth is facing serious challenges like climate change, deforestation, pollution, loss of ecological diversity, depletion of ozone layer, etc.

Here a poem for the occasion

The sun, the rain, the soil, the seed,

A gentle circle, need by need.

The trees give O2, the flowers bloom,

Chasing away the bad time’s gloom.

We take and use, but we must give,

So nature's bounty still can live.

To plant a tree, to clean a stream,

To live in balance, like a dream.

So let us tend with loving hand,

To nurture life across the land!
