Karma yoga couplets inspired by the Bhagavad Gita

Karma yoga couplets inspired by the Bhagavad Gita
~Lalit Kishore

Do selfless acts, not for the gain,
Life’s has purpose, not just the pain.

Focus on the work at hand,
Not the prize, but the demand.

In each task, let spirits soar,
For action’s worth's what we score.

Work is a right, but not the yield,
In duty’s  call, our soul's revealed.

Detach from the fruit; let action breathe,
In life’s quiet rhythm, we find our creed.

Life’s not for  gains, but  step one takes,
In detached acts, true self awakes.

We must fulfill our duty's call,
Detached from fruit, we stand tall.
