SIGNIFICANCE OF HARIYALI TEEJ: AN ABC POEM AND AN ABC POEM
The Hariyali Teej festival is celebrated with great piety and fervor and joy on the third day or tritiya tithi of Shukla Paksha in the Hindu month of Sawan. This year the festival falls on July 27 to be celebrated by married women with worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and seek blessings for their husbands' longevity and well of children.
In temples the Mantra "Sarva Mangal Maangalyaye Shive Sarvartha Sadhike Sharanyaye Tiryambike Gauri Narayani Namostute!" is recited.
