Human life has humble start and must end so: Poem

Birth - an innocent start of earthly life
In a world full of shortcuts, tips 'n strife
Driven by cravings of body-senses' combine
Journey turns devilish that begins as divine

Conditioning 'n darkness of ego confound
We live and die mundane, mean and unsound
Ignorant of life's purpose-meaning-n-connect
An un-aware circle of life and death is swept  

Withdrawn from world's transient ways
 Listen to symphony of  time and space
 Awaken, enliven your spirit  'n let it soar high
To unite with the Supreme Spirit pious 'n nigh

Remember, from dust we rise, to it we return
Perishable's material world, fragile the body frame
Humble is the start, 'n humble we must live and die
Better live a mindful and soulful life that is sane

Yoga Day 2025 Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health

 The 11th edition of the UN proclaimed International Day of Yoga is going to be observed on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”.  According to the UN the theme 'echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked.' "Yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind and fosters a heightened sense of awareness and responsibility in daily life. This mindfulness allows one to choose healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. In caring for ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth, reflecting the enduring Indian ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family," adds the UN.  Late Yoga guru B. K. S. Iyengar had once said, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”
