HINDI MICRO POEMS ON BHAGAWAD GITA

 HINDI MICRO-POEMS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LEARN THE MESSAGES OF THE BAGAWAD GITA THROUGH MICRO-CREDENTIAL CREDIT SYSTEM

The micro-poems in the inset picture were chosen to learn the spiritual vocabulary from the scripture ' Bagawad Gita' as part of meaning making with student-student interaction and student material interaction as a lesson study at the middle school level.

Micro-learning strategy was chosen for the following reason

Microlearning is capable maximising a designed course's efficiency by making learning more manageable by sharing learning in small chunks. In this instructional strategy, complex and abstract ideas are broken and chunked into smaller pieces of learning content. Such an attempt makes and integrate efficiently  into  course creation and execution processes.  

Such mini-bite learning material needs about 15 minutes of teacher led session followed by immediate use formalized learning sheet based requiring practice rest of 30 minutes of the class session study rather than commit to an hour of their day. In fact, microlearning a knowledge sharing activity on behalf of the teacher with immediate support and reinforcement leading to the mastery of the shared knowledge. If teachers and institutions wish to enhance learning retention and improve teacher-student engagement in the course.

Even neuro-scientific studies prove it since the human brain feels comfortable with small chunks of information to form neuron circuits by thoroughly processing information. It has bee suggested by researches that brain wired to process information in small chunk and finds large chunks of information is overwhelming and intimidating for the brain due to excessive cognitive load.

Furthermore, the research has also shown human brain is able to focusing on teacher-learner interaction for 10-20 minutes at a time with rest of the time of the class sesion of 45 minutes, 30 minutes should be used for student-student interaction and student-material interaction for practice.  It is being suggested micro-learning approach on micro-credential credits is one of the most tests of multiple solutions.
