WHAT IS EID ALL ABOUT: A POEM

Eid is here, a time of happy cheer,

Ramadan's done, the fasting now complete.

With grateful hearts, we hold each other near,

Community's warm embrace, a joyful treat.

Compassion blooms, like flowers in the spring,

Togetherness, a gift we all embrace.

Spiritual renewal, the joy it brings,

And charity lights up each smiling face.

Stronger the bonds with family and friend,

Our faith in God, a guiding, steady light.

Embracing unity, until the very end,

And giving back, with all our strength and might.

So let us celebrate, with open door,

Eid Mubarak, forevermore.
