The Gita as Holy Manual for Purposeful and Righteous Life: A Poem
The chariot waits, the battle looms,
Arjuna stands, consumed by glooms.
He sees his kin, on either side,
And feels his purpose gently slide.
Then Krishna speaks, a friend, a guide,
"Your duty calls, you cannot hide.
Embrace your role, with open heart,
Detach from outcome, play your part."
The Gita's words, a shining light,
A manual for living right.
Not chasing gains, with greedy hand,
But serving others, in the land.
When choices blur, and paths unclear,
The Gita whispers, "Do not fear.
Act with compassion, truth, and grace,
Leave to the cosmos, time and space."
Though centuries pass, the message stays,
A guiding star, through modern days.
In every task, a chance to grow,
Let duty bloom, and freely flow.
