War-Free World and Peace Woven in Compassion: A Poem
War-Free World and Peace Woven in Compassion: A Poem
The Buddha said, a peaceful mind,
Comes from compassion, you will find.
Like a seed, it's deep inside,
Needs care and love, to be your guide.
Feel for others, share their pain,
Again, again, and then again.
Until it's how you truly see,
A caring heart, eternally.
Care for yourself, then outward flow,
Help others blossom, help them grow.
End suffering, break the chain,
Of conflict, division, hate, and pain.
Care sincerely, be aware,
A loving heart is everywhere.
If you want others to find peace,
Let compassion never cease.
Compassion honed, a world so bright,
No more wars' gloom, only light.
A peaceful world, a gentle hand,
Spread compassion through the land.
