 SEIZE THE NEW YEAR DAY FOR FRESH START: A POEM

The clock ticks soft, a brand new day,

A chance to wash the old away.

To look within, and gently see,

The "me" I was, and want to be.

Let's quiet down, and think it through,

The things that worked, the things untrue.

And choose, with care, a different way,

To grow and shine, more bright each day.

Be kind and calm, in all you do,

Be thankful for the sky so blue.

Let feelings guide, with steady hand,

And build a strength, you understand.

Say "no" to things that hold you tight,

Say "yes" to things that feel so right.

Do good deeds, with simple grace,

And find a smile upon your face.

For body, mind, and spirit free,

A better life for you and me.

So breathe it in, this fresh new start,

And heal and grow, with open heart.
