Politicization and Commercialization of Temples: A Poem

Politicization and Commercialization of Temples: A Poem

God's house, now bright lights gleam,
But feels like just a hollow dream.
Devotion's lost in show and tell,
While coins in coffers rise and swell.

The common man, he stands outside,
His simple faith, they cannot hide.
But temple doors, they seem to close,
On hearts that ache and spirit knows.

This worship, bought and polished bright,
Hides darkness deep, and steals the light.
The soul is starved, the spirit weak,
A change is needed, we must speak.

For heartless greed has gone too far,
Beyond the bounds of what we are.
A revolution's gentle hand,
To heal the wounds across the land.

A just order, born of right,
To bring back trust, and truth, and light!
