LPG PRICES SOAR: BACK TO DUNG TIMES
The prices of gas made us run,
To seek out a source that was fun.
With a shovel in hand,
We scoured the land,
And went back to burning the dung.
The smell, of course, was not sweet,
A pungent aroma, hard to beat.
But pockets now full,
No longer a pull,
From greedy gas stations, incomplete.
The car sits idle, unused,
A modern convenience, now refused.
For warmth and for light,
We suffer the blight,
Of yesteryear's methods, infused.
