Know the Shaktism Spiritual Precept this Navratri

The Chaitra  Navaratri festival has begun, prompting dedicated followers to revisit the principles of Shaktism to rejuvenate their spiritual essence.

Kishore at Slideshare notes that in the Shaktism School of spirituality, Shakti is recognized as the Supreme Being. Occasionally, the Divine Mother is referred to as Adi-Shakti, representing the ultimate power present in all creations throughout the cosmos.

Certain Vedic texts even assert that Shakti embodies the Supreme Brahman, with both female and male forms seen as Her manifestations.

The Shaktisangama school of thought asserts, "Woman is the creator of the universe; the universe is her manifestation. Woman is the bedrock of the world, embodying the true essence of the body. Within woman lies the essence of all things, of everything that lives and moves in the world. There is no treasure more precious than woman, and no state more exalted than that of a woman."

Here is my acrostic sentence on SHAKTI, which illustrates the virtues of the divine feminine.

A: Awakening via the principles of co-creation, nurturance, love, cooperation, and cosmic
