Culture Based Learning: A Theme Song

Our school, a song of where we're from,
The stories whispered, since day one.
No longer books from lands afar,
But tales of our folk, near and far.

Our art, the patterns on the wall,
The colours echo, through the hall.
With folk art, songs, and dance and play,
Our heritage, lights up the day.

Our lessons bloom, from soil we know,
The seeds of wisdom, start to grow.
We learn science 'n math, to improve ways,
'N read own life-books, to never bray.

Our hearts're strong, our spirits free,
We know our worth, we know our trees.
We learn and grow, and reach so high,
With roots so deep, beneath the sky.
