Now war crimes are growing more rife,
But power drunks dodge court for their life.
War mongers so bold,
War crimes untold,
Impunity sharpens the knife. 
 
The ICC's call, a distant hum,
For gilded towers, never come.
The powerful laughs, a chilling sound,
While victims bleed on unkind ground.
