Understanding holiness precept of spirituality: Couplets and Quintain

Holiness Precept:

Couplets

World's shaping touch, a tempting snare,
Ego's shadows, a mind's despair.

Unholy cravings, fleeting and vain,
Spoil the pure, leaving only pain.

Humility's grace, a cleansing stream,
Holiness born, a waking dream.

Awakening dawns, in pureness found,
Self-awareness blooms, on hallowed ground.

Intuition whispers, truth takes flight,
"Thou art thyself," in purest light.

Holiness is a cleansing fire,
Extinguishes the false desire.

To be ego-free, a sacred quest,
In pure existence, find your rest.

Quintain

A mind trapped in cravings so deep,
An ego, false promise to keep.
Spoiled senses hold sway,
Leading virtues astray,
Till holiness helps us to peep.
