Sunbird: A Poem for Kids and a Picture
Little sunbird, shiny and bright,
Flitting around in the morning light.
With a long, curved beak so thin,
Sipper of nectar, let the day begin!
Green and yellow, colors so gay,
Resting on flowers to pass the day.
Fast it flies on sunny days,
Basking in the morning rays.
